We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Our refund protection ensures peace of mind for your bookings. Here's what you're covered for — and what you're not.
What You're Covered For
- Major disruption to public transport (e.g., delay, cancellation, breakdown, or accident).
- Illness, accident, or death affecting you, a family member, or someone in your attending group.
- Vehicle breakdown, accident, fire, or theft while traveling to the event.
- Unnotified jury duty at the time of booking.
- Burglaries or fires at your home within 48 hours before the event.
- Court summons to appear as a witness, unknown at time of booking.
- Last-minute military deployment or leave cancellation.
- Severe weather warnings from the Met Office or official government agencies advising against travel.
What You're Not Covered For
- Pre-existing medical conditions resulting in illness or death.
- Event cancellations or changes made by the event organizer.
- Personal choice not to attend for reasons not listed above.
- Lack of required documentation, such as a doctor’s note.
- Normal pregnancies unless due date falls within 4 weeks of the event and began after booking.
- Known transport disruptions before booking was made.
- Fraudulent claims or falsified supporting documents.
Required Documentation for a Refund
- Medical claims: Doctor’s note or medical confirmation form. GP notes or hospital reports may also be accepted.
- Transport issues: Confirmation from a public transport provider or repair invoice. For accidents, police or insurance confirmation may be needed.
- Legal summons: Official letter from the court.
- Home incidents: Documentation from police, fire brigade, or insurance provider.
- Severe weather: Official red warning or travel advisory.
- Bereavement: Death certificate.
- Ticket: Original unused ticket or assignment of rights for unissued tickets.
Please note: Your GP may charge for providing documentation, and this cost is your responsibility. It may reduce the final refund amount, especially on lower-value ticket purchases.
Important Declaration
By submitting a refund request, you confirm that your reason falls within the covered situations, is not excluded under the "What You're Not Covered For" section, and you have the necessary documentation to support your claim.
